should I get a 3ds or ps3 or xbox360?

What should I save my money for? I love my DS but it's the original kind and it's starting to die like the sound doesn't work all the time and the battery life is becoming really short, however I really really want skyrim and sonic gen and basically a non-nintendo system. I know I can get these games for my PC but my laptop isn't built for gaming. What do you think I already have a wii and also would ps3 play my ps2 games?

I'm trying to record the audio from a Nintendo 3DS and was looking into how to do it. I don't have a stereo cable yet, but I was wondering if it is possible to use a double ended 3.5mm stereo cable to get the music from the 3DS to play through my laptop's internal speakers for recording purposes.

I already know the PS3 is to last at the minimum 10years after its release date (November 2006)
and the 360 to last until production stops which won't be for a while. But is Nintendo starting to decline on its network and will it pull the plug soon? Now that the Wii U is coming near.

So, I have this website called "Flipnote Hatena" on my DSiXL. I've done lots and lots of Flipnotes that have music in them. So I wanted to do my first animation flip with no help. So I went on youtube and put the song I wanted. After I went on my DSiXL and clicked the audio. (The song was All Around Me by Flyleaf). I click to record for 5 seconds to check how it was. It was awful!! Everything was scratchy, I couldn't hear anything, you barely heard the voice. This never happend! I went on the Nintendo.com Support but it says nothing! I tried turning down the volume on the computer and it made it worse!! I really want to make this flip. I even tried a nice song! It still wont work!! Could any one please please help me?

I have bought 3 psp, and one dsi, and I loved both systems, but i sold them.
